Bed and Breakfast or self catering holiday gite accommodation at our lovely traditional stone-built Breton house in rural Brittany. We are ideally situated in central west Brittany between Carhaix and Rostrenen, close to the border of Finistere, and within an easy drive of the Morbihan region. The close proximity of major roads links enables you to easily visit a vast area of Brittany. and just a 3 minute drive to a Route Nationale (RN164). The north, south and west coasts of Brittany are all approximately 1hour drive.
Set in the heart of a small hamlet and surrounded by farmland, this is the perfect rural location to come and relax.
Bed and Breakfast guests are accommodated in the private gite, which is a stone-built holiday cottage, attached to our home, with breakfast served in the main house, or in the holiday cottage at your request.
The gite accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms, shower room, open-plan lounge/kitchen. Private patio and lawned garden. The accommodation has been refurbished to a high standard, and has good quality fittings throughout.
We are the perfect choice for accommodation in rural central Brittany, especially if you are interested in walking, cycling, fishing, nature-watching, and the peace and tranquility of the countryside and rural life. We have walks directly from the holiday cottage gite, and lovely cottage gardens, which have been planted to attract wildlife. There are regular local markets in the surrounding towns and many beautiful churches and the famous calvaries in the this interesting area of Brittany.
Just a 3 minute drive from the holiday cottage gite will take you either to the village of Mael-Carhaix, or to the Nantes-Brest Canal. The canal is excellent for walking, cycling and nature-watching. There are walks directly from the door of the holiday cottage gite, one taking you to a site of a Roman Aquaduct.
Our sunny south-facing garden is fantastic for relaxing with a book or enjoying a game of boules.

The BED AND BREAKFAST accommodation we are offering comprises:
2 double bedrooms, (each with double beds), plus 1 single room with single bed. Private shower room.
Guests have full use of the open-plan lounge area which has French T.V., and are also invited to enjoy the private patio and lawned garden. There are tea and coffee making facilities, use of a fridge/freezer, microwave, mini-oven and barbecue.
Prices:
55 euros double room per night
30 euros single room per night
(Prices include a generous continental breakfast.)
**Evening meals** can be provided by prior arrangement.
Dinner: 18 euros per person
We use home-grown produce whenever possible, and vegetarians are well catered for.
